The team discusses alignment throughout the course, but especially during the blueprinting stage, ensuring that all course learning outcomes are addressed in course modules through learning activities (giving students enough opportunity to practice the intended outcomes) and formative and summative assessments (ensuring that students met the learning outcomes). Course modules include more specific, detailed outcomes pertaining to the topics specifically, but are still stemming from the main, course learning outcomes.
